Hand planning made simple
I think i have solved the problem of planning wide boards......just get a load of this plane! One pass should do the trick.

The problem is where to get the muscles big enough to do that one pass.

I knew you would reply Zen...lol...yes very impressive...that site i found has quite abit of info.
Very impressive work and have a look at the prices of their planes..equally impressive. I have a couple of Japanese smoothing planes and pulling them over clear Cedar or similar is just a joy!

I can just see Ryan wandering around his shop with one of those in his hands mumbleing "what else can I plane??" with a glazed look in his eyes! :eek: :eek: :eek:
Meanwhile his beautiful bench is a pile of beautiful shavings against the wall..........NO!!!
Mind you it's a great looking bit of kit!!!

that is one scary machine, I'd hate to think what would happen if that thing kicked back, I think I'll stick to hand planes!
