    Default Happy clamping

Now that I have finally got some decent clamps, I thought I would throw a couple of shots from my 'garashop' up for constructive comment.

I am utilising my double garage, with both cars being relegated to a carport.

(hope this works, as the pics do not show up in preview)

No actual paper proof, just applied and adapted what I have seen here, as well as a mate who supplied at the right price
the dusty sucks all the shavings etc all through the system, in spite of the height. I just have to check each 'gate' to ensure that only the one connected to the equipment in use is the only one open.

    Sigh!

I must get the plumbing connected!! Glad the clamps inspired you to show us your shed... they just inspired me to start more stuff, instead of finishing the shed!!

    Cheers,

Soren, that's one serious shop. Another Triton Club member without a Triton product in sight. You've got every conceivable (upon second thought that isn't possible) tool I've ever wanted! I'm looking forward to you building the next rocker.

The clamp rack was knocked up yesterday, as previously, the clamps lived all over the garage, attached to any free edge.
Only problem is the height of the rack. I can only just reach the ends of the short clamps on the top rack, standing on 'tippy toes' and I am 6'4". Unfortunately no wall space left, unless I build a wall behing the roller door, which I have been assured by 'the boss', I am not to do.

Has she said anything about screwing stuff to the roller door though???

After you've attached a few things, she might beg you to build a wall in front of it!

No not specifically, but maybe I could build a hinged wall, which swings away, permitting entry of a 'small' car

Don, I have both the Triton Router and table, as well as the dust bucket, all very well hidden under the 'work bench'
Wish I had the permanent space, to have it readily accessible all the time. As it is, the contractor saw, thicknesser, bandsaw and router table is wheeled into the free space, as and when required, and has to be returned for the next piece of equipment to be utilised. Each unit is connected with enough flexible duct pipe to allow this.
Whilst I can manage and use the equipment in their place for small operations, as soon as anything is longer than 2 metres, the equipment starts to 'travel'.

There is NO WAY I am going to attempt Rocker's rocker, until I gain a lot more woodworking expertise. You'll know what I mean, when you see my 'finished' stepping stool

Great Garashop, nice clamps. But why are they hanging on the wall???
    J!

My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and its price is competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.

Has the jointer got wheels as well, cant see you straighting any more than 1m of wood where it is situated?
Im sorting my space ATM, did all the dusty ducting yesterday 6" mains and 4" solid to all the machines, made a heap of 4" blast gates. Currently making a 3m wide X 2.3m high wood rack from steel hopefully finish it tomorrow. Post some piccys tomorrow... if I finish!
Sure be nice to have the ceiling height you've got.

Nice to see your workshop again Soren, good to see the ductwork is finished. I've just finished extending my ducting to allow for the new TS.

Seeing that you can't stand straight in mine I'm sure you appreciate the higher headroom.

Nice looking shop.As has been mentioned before, I envy the height you have - well your shop. I think wall space is close behind clamps - you can't have enough

If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.
