Default Heads Up -Camelia oil on sale @ Coles

I was in Coles (Gympie Qld) this morning picking up some things for SWMBO before I snuck over to Mitre10.

Coles had Phase3 Organic Camelia Oil reduced to clear for $6.50/ 500ml. It's in the health food isle and was previously discussed here. Don't know about other stores.

    Regards,

    James

I got a couple of bottles at Manor Lakes coles in Werribee. It was also discontinued and cheap.

I just like the smell when it's rubbed on. Rubbed on steel hand tools of-course.

    $5.25 @ Coles Chatswood
which do you think the tools will like the most - the extra virgin cold pressed or the other boring old one?

Coles Springwood and Jindalee dont have it on sale. Will keep looking, or just pay full price, which is still cheaper than other suppliers.

    Default Bargain

bargain $5.25 for 500ml compared to $24 at carbi for 240 ml
I notice the extra virgin is more viscous then the other (the carbi included)

    Hi

    2 questions

1.Do you simply wipe the oil over the item with a rag? or is there some preparation required?

2.If I have a little bit of surface rust on the metal, should I be sanding that back first? Wet and Dry paper?

I imagine it works better if the surfaces are free of rust
that's the basis on which I go by when using it
