I PM'd Sonia with a few ideas, some encouragement, a virtual guided tour of Bunnings ..... and look what she has achieved after neglecting all but, I think, 1 of my ideas ... and I am thrilled for her and her sons.
A fabulous job Sonia, you should be very proud! What's your next project?

Whilst it's a greenie to Fletty for helping Sonia, personally I think "fun pods" are a dumb idea.
Most kids will quickly realise that the difference between a chair and a "fun pod" is that you can move the chair and get onto it by yourself -- so the fun pod is only creating a false sense of safety for the parent.
Far better to adopt safe habits in the kitchen like
pot handles are always orientated away ro the edge.
if you're cooking a kid is never left unsupervised in the kitchen
if you have an electric stove, heating elements you've just turned off are covered
etc.regards from Alberta, Canada
