Default Help with a old Ryobi 305mm slide compound saw

Hi I have just purchased an old Ryobi slide compound saw EMS1830scl.
It is second hand and I am trying to find any information I can about adjusting it in the vertical plane.
I am hoping someone with know of a video or PDF file that they could point me to?
Or anything at all really it isn't like any simple mitre saw.
    Thanks for any help!EMS1830scl8.jpg

    Default Ryobi spares

I looked closely at the Ryobi spares diagram you supplied and I think I have to move the cover plate No.2 in the diagram.
That looks relatively easy and also easy to access.
Thanks for the help - very appreciated!

Here is the manual for the saw. I believe what you are after is at the start of page 29.
