    Default Help with timber identification please?

    Hi guys and girls,
    I’m about to start restoring an old rustic farmhouse style dining table and I’m wondering what I am working with? My suspicion is blackbutt however I welcome your thoughts?

    Or would Cyprus Pine be closer to the mark? It does have a very smooth texture to it.
