I can't help you with the title, but it's a nice cabinet!
How did you attach the cabinet to the base/bottom half?
Cheers

i like the ideas that have been given to me so far, but im thinking that i would like to title it after an Aboriginal name.
so far i have got;
Jeeljarup (three jarrah trees)
Kutterbul (wonderful)
Lenkunya (beautiful)
Nukara (my own)
what do you think?
Cheers, Luke

"Marginata and we've only just begun."
That's a nice piece. Well proportioned, grain matched and tight tolerances. You have shown a keen eye for detail combined with an artistic flair, hallmarks of a good furniture maker.These are gifts, rarely seen in one so young.
Just a thought... The end panels in the top section are made up of three backsawn pieces. This gives a "busy" effect. Now that might have been what you were after. If you wanted a more natural look, a backsawn piece in the centre with two quartersawn pieces, one on each side. This places visual emphasis on the single backsawn panel and creates balance. It also helps to stabalize the panel as backsawn material is far more prone to movement.
