Default My Himalayan Cedar natural edge coffee table

I'm new here, so I thought I'd share my latest project.

It's the first time I'd done a slab this size, or played with anything other than pine or jarrah, but I like the results. It was pretty simple design to make though.

Sanded all down, and lines marked up for cutting.

    Assembled.

    And nice and glossy.

Looks nice but do yourself a favour and either take it outside to get a good shot of it under natural sunlight or use a tungsten globe rather than the bluish fluoro light.
The slab looks decidedly sickly in your photos.
I bet it would look a million dollars using the above especially with the swirls and knot.

Once I pull it inside, I'll have down lights galore on it. My shed doesn't have great lighting (but better then when I moved in), but during the day it isn't an issue. I'll take some nicer photos soon.

Looking forward to the clear and lustrous photos with anticipation.
