    Default Hiya les88

I bought the ripping blade from Harris Bros that you told me about.
Whoa what a vicious looking beast
Did you ever manage to get your machine to track perfectly?
    I finally worked it out.

Yes Wolffie my machine is simply magic. I use the fence that came with the saw and have adjusted it to track correctly. When I am resawing deep timbers I have an auxiliary high fence that clamps to the standard fence. I have made a jig for cutting circles and use it a lot. I just couldn't do with out my band saw now, how about you?

I am the same, whatever did I do before I bought it?
Just resawed a 40 mm thick tee-tree plank, then I made a 1 mm thick strip of veneer. Worked a treat
I too finally worked out how to set the fence absolutely square, the mitre gauge was out 1/2 degree.
How did you make your fence?
I made one that tracks in the t-slot with a brace at the back.

Wouldn't do without my jointer either.

Just had a major panic attack.
We were using the thicknesser and something went BANG.
Actually, we weren't even using it, we were just setting it up.
We found a spring under one of the rollers .
After settling down, finishing biting our nails to the quick and taking the whole confounded machine apart, then eliminating one spring after another, we found it was just the one that tensions the thingy that locks the knifeblock so it can't reverse. Thank goodness for the detailed manuals from Grizzly
Why do things always happen on Week-Ends?
I swear that thicknesser is going to make my hair change from grey to white .

Have a nice week-end, we are going to start on the kitchen cabinet doors.
