Hiya again les88
Just had a problem with the bandsaw, it kept triggering the safety switch.
When I removed the on/off switch there were a thick layer of sawdust on the electrics.
If you remove the blue doors, you will see a large, approx 25 mm, bung hole in the column to the left of the wheels.
These holes absolutely suck the dust in. I reckon, sooner or later, the dust will create a rust problem too.
I bought a set of rubber thingies for chair legs, you know those skinny ones, and plugged the holes.
There is also a small screw hole that I covered with masking tape.
Not an ounce of sawdust in the column any more.
Hardly any dust in the black bottom cabinet any more either.
Thought it would be worth it for you to know.

Yes, it looks like that was what triggered the safety switch, thank goodness for the leccies on this board
The kitchen had to take a backseat while we worked out our problems but now it is full speed ahead again
Made the frames for the doors and now we are working on the panels.
As a learning curve we decided to make doors for the vanity unit in the bathroom first.
Brett from Carba-Tec has been patience personified helping us iron out the problems with the thicknesser.
If there is a white elephant to be bought, I am certain to be the person who buys it
