The tools in Hickory's link are Chinese clones of D-Sta-Co clamps, which are just dandy.

Google ["harbor freight" australia] got a hit for HF on ebay au, so I guess they're ready to make a presence there. And why should they not? Spelling of "harbour" might be even better. [Not kidding. Tried it, but came up vague. Try a WWF search for "harbour freight" and might have better luck.]

    Default Vac-clamp

Firstly I have a vested interest in Vac-clamp or V-clamp (USA)

Australian made clamp that holds the work piece underneath, so no clamps heads to obstruct the top and sides. You do need a compressor

If you are interested here is a web site for more information

    Hi
We need the holdfasts for younger students (particularly females) who lack strength to say hold timber to cut with tenon saw.

This crowd will send 10 of there to oz via USPS airmail for $15 (postage)

A lot cheaper than buying here in oz!

My experience with Harbour Freight was that they have reasonable prices on the goods, but charge like wounded bulls on the shipping charges, plus they will only ship by UPS, who will try to hit you for another chunk of imaginary 'customs fees'. They lost me as a customer, unless I am in the US & can pick up at a shop front.
