    Question Horizonital Boring Machine

Could anyone help me? I am looking for a cheap horizonital drill. 1/2 HP With an adjustable up + down Very much like a drill press. Adjustable table or drill motor
About $200 - $400.00. I know I can get a Jet drill press for about $269.00 But cannot find a Hori. I have searched the internet with no success.
Three cuts and still to short.

    Thumbs up horizontal boring machine

There is an accessory onthe market called the Vertiacc, which attaches to a drill press table, and can drill holes for any purpose in all materials.I can be set for any angle to drill in the endgrain of timber to a length of 1300mm,then can be set to drill the marrying componants in the horizontal" very accurately"it has hinged finger stops to enable the drilling of multiple holes,EG drill 1 hole ,lift the stop ,and pass material to next stop and so on.ideal for ajustable shelves.I am told this tool is only goverered by the imagination ,when it comes to the drilling of holes,it can even be set for compound drilling, and with the supports that are provided can drill holes in partical /melamine etc, good for knock down furniture.I received a business card from a friend who visited a show.the email is,

If you can find an older Shopsmith, they do great for horizontal drilling, and a few other things. I also built a jig for my drillpress that works OK for drilling dowel pin holes in table leaves. Simple though time consuming to get right, but it does the job when needed.
