80+ replies, 900+ views IN ONLY 4 HOURS!!

I'm seriously worried that this is a statement on what we consider is worth replying too. There are serious woodwork questions not getting half that much interest in twice the time

This reminds me of the story about the early attempts to use computers to translate languages. The programmer typed in "Out of sight, out of mind" and translated it into Russian. He then took the Russian translation and typed that back into the computer and translated it back into English. The result:"Invisible idiot"

I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Eddie, I don't consider picking on someone an attempt of feeble humour but IMO is plain bullying.

Secondly, This is not an spelling forum and our attitude to spelling is easily ascertained by doing a search.

Thirdly If you want a post interpreted as a feeble attempt at humour then please use an emoticon or post in the jokes section as wew can't read your mind.

Finally if you want to pick on someone then please do it on one of the regular posters rather than on someone who has just made his maiden post.

Sturdee, I disagree on one point.

You cant just insult someone and then whack a smiley on it an expect everything to be ok.
    Cheers,

True, but a smiley can soften the post and indicate the intention of the poster, but the absence of it makes it certain that it is an insult.

    I know.

Same reply as in the original thread, it was done on purpose to annoy Eddie. Hence the bold type.
