Default Can someone id for me please.

Hey everyone. I picked this sweet Danish style chair up from a verge collection yesterday and was wondering if anyone could id the timber for me. I need to replace a few bits. Also if anyone knows the designer or maker that'd be awesome too, it has the name branche written under each arm but I'm not sure if that's the maker or clients name. Thanks a million lads and ladies.

It has the look and feel of 70's Teak furniture - but it might just as well be one of the Alternative Teaks (Iroko etc).

I think it looks like a PH chair.
He was an architect/designer whose designs were much copied.
In the 70es the big rage in Denmark was teak, so I believe fly could be right.

I think Wolffie is close to the mark. That design is pretty commonly still seen down here in Tassie. It's very 70's. Another key brand of the day was G-Plan. I think all their stuff was done in Burma teak. I have a nest of 3 coffee tables from G-Plan bought in 1966 in teak solids and still in great condition.
