That'd be great - I KNOW mine need doing (seeing as I've had it for 3 or so years, and have never looked at the blades!)

    Question about Torrents -

    Any problems with/using Bit Torrent?
How do you seed rather than just download?
(I'm used to using Kazaa a while ago for sharing files, so knew how that worked).

    1. Install a torrent program (such as Bit Torrent, Azureaus or TorrentSpy)
    2. Click on the link above- this will download the pointer to the actual torrent, and you will be asked what default program you want to use. The Torrent program you have installed will be the default.
    3. Click "ok" or whatever the program offers to start the download.

In basic terms, a Torrent is used to allow much faster download of files.

Instead of one person having to supply the entire file to you, the torrent program finds a number of sources for you, and downloads some of the file from each source. It puts them all together, giving you the final, complete file. The more sources there are, the faster the download, up to your maximum download rate for your connection. (Typically, upload speeds are much slower than download, so it takes a number of simultaneous sources to max out your download rate).

For example, right now, someone is downloading the file, and part of it is coming from my computer. My connection is only having to provide about 4 KB/s, and yet the person downloading is probably getting 40-50 KB/s

Thanks for the feedback people. I'm glad you liked it but isn't that neighbour of mine one ugly barstool. I know it's only basic but many people might find it helpful. If one person gets to buy a jointer because of it, then we've succeeded. (Good one Jedo) It seesm quite a few copies have gone out already.

So now we know how easy it is, lets get rolling. We could build up a nice library of files and maybe even get a separate section in these forums for them. All hands to the pump please.

And Bob, don't be so paranoid, just download Azureus or Torrent Spy and get on board. Life is all about taking a risk.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Not sure about Bit Torrent - never used it.
I haven't had any spyware with Azureus.

It should seed automatically. There are 5 seeding it now (11pm) - thanks folks.

That's what I had in mind but we need a few more vids. 20 minutes of 'Mr Ugly' in his overalls just isn't enough.

We will add Neil's finishing vid and others I'm working on with people in here. It may take a little while but it will happen.

(I forgot about the Bunnies shirt - my son worked there for a while.
