    here is my version - done differently
    I call it the impossible E and it's done with magic.
    I have a lot of fun with people who ask me how...I never tell them.
    Used as my screen saver at the moment
    Timber is white cedar.

    Except for the final sanding, the entire process can be done in one day. Use a follower block for compression, and drill through it while still in the vise. Recovery is also faster. In fact, with accelerated drying, the sanding might even be done the same day. Regular oven, not microwave because of the metal component.
