Incra table saw fence
Whilst looking through the Timbecon catalogue I noticed the Incra table saw fence (TS-III). I'm looking for a replacement for the hopelessly inaccurate fence on my contractors saw.
Has anybody tried the Incra item, is it worth the cost ($1049) or should I go with the Biesemeyer fence which does appear more rugged and costs less, it doesn’t have all those micro adjusting thingo’s though.

Here's a detailed review of the Incra TS-III Fence you might want to take a look at:

Perhaps someone can correct me here but I believe that the Incra fence does not come in a metric version? If so, this means that you'll be working in inches (1/32" is the minimum adjustment), just in case that's a problem for you.
At least I know this is true for the Incra Jig, which works on the same principle."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

Timbecon had one on display about two weeks ago when I was there. Althouth it isn't set up properly you will get an idea of how it works. I didn't take much notice of it at the time but the size of it did catch my eye.
Cheers,
Rod

incra
I have an Incra Miter1000SE Fence which I ordered from the U.S.
I paid an extra US$10 for metric tape inserts which slide into the fence and plastic gizmos which grip at 1mm intervals which replace the ones on the fence.
I don't see why you couldn't order these for the table saw fence.

FWIW I've had a Biesemeyer for 18 months or so and it's been great. I'd buy it again in a minute.
