Infinity thick kerf flat top saw blades
Just picked up a set of three blades - Infinity Tools. Their Thick Kerf Flat-Top Saw Blade Set - two 8" diam 1/4" kerf blades, and one 5/32" kerf blade, with spacers to make cuts up of 5/32", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2".
The 1/4" kerf blades are a nice bit of kit - 4.2mm thick blade, with the 1/4" thick teeth.... scary looking! Can't wait to fire up the TS with these on this weekend....
Pics tell more.... the other blade is a standard 1/8" kerf blade (Infinity 24T Ripper).

Possibly a stupid question, but what on earth would you want a 1/4" kerf blade for?

Used in combination, is similar to a dado set, albeit with less sizes available - I'm going to use for box joints/grooves/tenons etc....
There is a video on the infinity site...

That makes sense. It'd take a pretty serious motor to use it for ripping, not to mention the waste...
