Ordered stuff from banggood in April, arrived in 3 weeks.
My office chair I bought from Office works was on backorder from China. scheduled to be 5 May, arrived on 26th of April
Ordered some Dell computer off the net. The laptop was configured in China. arrived ahead of schedule as well
Ordered a Veritas BU smoother from Lee Valley, they said they could only ship via couriers which cost an arm or a leg, and they have a shortage of PMV-11 iron. So I cancelled my order and went to Axminster. They have no stock either.
Tried to order some magnets from Banggood, but apparently they can't ship magnets at the moment. Forced to buy them on eBay, stuff from eBay never arrives on time, if at all. Not holding my breath.

That seems normal for China Post. I thought this thread was about abnormal COVID-19 delays.

No that's Canada Post - they make China Post look like TNT Express!

Ordered something from Germany on the DHL into OzPost service - normally 10-14 days, took 2 months and nobody could tell me where it was the whole time.

Things from the U.S. will vary depending on whether it is USPS or (much quicker) Fedex or UPS etc. UPS fly their own freighter into Sydney six days a week, not sure what Fedex does, and Qantas have two Atlas-operated 747-800F's crossing the Pacific

Are there still that many flights across the Pacific in this Coronavirus era?

Just checked situation for Hobart Airport. They have gone from 50+ flights a day to just two scheduled flights per day:
    1. A Qantas freighter scheduled to land at 5.10 am, and
    2. A Jetstar B737 flight scheduled to land at 3.35 pm.

Essentially carrying only returning Tasmanians ... to quarantine. Few exceptions.

Victorian quarantine is equally strict on the outward flight.

Things seemed to have slowed down again with the 2nd wave.
I've got one item from Germany languishing on the tarmac at Frankfurt Airport - 3 weeks now.
Another From the US, stuck somewhere in Sydney - 4 weeks
Chinese bits don't seem much more variable than usual, with some arriving in a couple of weeks, some taking 6-8

I ordered my SCM spindle moulder in July, around week 29/30. it will finish construction by early/mid November, around week 45/46.

freight takes 6-8 weeks - so they say.

I will be very lucky to get it before Christmas.

likely to be Jan/Feb Delivery. almost 7-8 months

a good indication if you want to indent a machine from Italy.
