Invitation to all forum members.
Hi guys and I hope a few Gals too.
First a disclaimer that I do have an interest in this as a committee member but my interest is an honorable one!
Firstly I want to say this is an excellent forum and I have no desire to lessen it or to take people away from it but would like to extend an invitation to one and all to become members of the NSW Woodworkers Association Inc.
It to is a great forum for the exchange of knowledge at every level from the beginner to the professional. It gives the keen armature or professional an opportunity to exhibit their works to the public at high exposure events like the Home Show or Sydney Craft show for a tiny fraction of the cost you could do if for as an individual.
The Association this year has an all new Committee and we are looking forward to some dynamic changes in the organization to the benefit of all members.
I would also like to extend a personal invitation to anybody interested but unsure to PM me with any questions they might have. All prospective members can come along to a meeting and see if they like the group before joining .
To forum members from other states I am sorry to waste your time with this posting but you might also look to similar organizations in your home states.
One final point I would like to make is that whatever we do that promotes these crafts is a good thing. Not all such groups are for everybody but for many it is the support of such groups that makes it possible to grow and learn what is sadly becoming a dying art.
