Big thanks to Fletty
Over the years on Alan's jaunts to the UK he has been paramount is playing courier of pen blanks between a decent Yorkshireman (Ian) and myself. This is the latest haul.

Had to google "Inkle loom" Ray, but once I saw one set up I got the picture. Amazing how much I don't know!
I made a small table-top single heddle loom for my then partner back in the 60s, which was my first & last foray into loom making. I had very limited tools at the time, and I do remember being challenged to drill some reasonably centred holes in the bits of dowel (a cut up hoe handle iirc) for the rollers. There was a big craze on weaving at the time, but I thought it had died out completely since! I obviously don't hang around in the right places, 'cos it seems to have survived in favourable habitats...
Keep up the good work, but like Skew sez, don't tell our spouses....
Cheers,IW
