Japanese tools/woodowrk
I was just wondering if there are many people interested in or doing Japanese style woodwork in Melb. I know very little little about the area of woodwork myself but would sure like to get together with others that would be keen to share their knowledge.
I have only ever been to one short talk by a lecturer from ...i think Melb Uni who had lived in Japan for awhile while he was growing up.
That talk followed by a short Video was to me, at any rate just terrific. If others are interested to share there knowledge etc over a coffee with a few that would be great.
If this post should be in another area to arouse more attention please let me know. Some would be aware i'm sure, of the japanese woodwork forum and seen some of the work they are doing...or discussing.
Anyway hope to hear from...some or many.

At the next meeting of the Victorian Woodworkers Association, there will be a talk and a series of photos and videos about Japanese Woodwork. Let me know if you are interested.
