Jarrah fire
I visited my Mum for dinner last night and noticed she was burning Jarrah in her combustion heater. ..
It was the last piece in the wood shed too...
What a waste!

That little piece? Good lord, the amount of jarrah I've put through my wood heaters would make you weep then!
(I do keep some of the good stuff when I find it.)

As kids there were twelve of us in a house that had a wood stove, wood hot water system and wood fireplace. ~24 tones of Jarrah a year went through those, Mostly Jarrah railway sleeper off cuts.
