    Default Jet Jpt410 struggle and frustration

    I am really struggling to get a flat surface through my Jet JPT-410 combination planer thicknesser, which everyone knows can be very frustrating. I have had the machine since new (April 2014), but due to health reasons only just started getting back into the workshop so have not really put the machine through its proper paces till now. Using the manual I have tried everything it has suggested, without a very accurate straight edge (only have one from carbatec which I dont think is very accurate) making checking over the machine a little tougher.

    I looking for someone to come out (paid if need be) and look over the machine to make sure everything is how it is suppose to be.
    Does anyone know anybody or if there is a call out person in Adelaide to do such a task ?
