These guys specialise in Box making hardware and veneers. http://www.veneerinlayaustralia.com.au/

You can also try Carbatec and Timbecon.

Lee Valley Tools (www.leevalley.com) have a very comprehensive range of box hardware. Their hardware catalogue runs to 180 pages.

I have no connection with the company, although some of my recent posts might lead you to think otherwise.

I can recommend Veneer Inlay Australia - especially if you don't want to buy enough to justify the wait & international postage ordering from the US. Just got my first order from them - only took a couple of days, excellent service & quality.

The american Brusso hardware looks nice (havn't tried it yet) but I did buy some of the Garrett Wade glue a few weeks back to see what it was like to use.

Brusso is supposed to be nice - but damn it'd want to install itself for those prices

The Brusso hardware is excelent. Sure it's expensive, but if you're making & selling quality boxes it's probably worth it.

Anton Gerner is good to deal with...sent me some hinges that I needed urgently on my promise that the cheque was in the mail...first time I'd dealt with him.

Brusso hinges are really, really good. You have to hold them in your hand to appreciate how well made they are. They *ARE* very expensive, but well worth the money if you're producing heirloom-quality work.

One of the box makers that supplies our gallery also supplies other people with hardware.

Brusso hinges are excellent (they just don't make the right size)

The thread starter hasn’t been on the forums since 8th Jun 2008, think his request has been well and truly answered.

The reason this post has popped up is that there was a spam post attached which has now been removed
