    Default Joining legs to a coffee table.

    Hi all, A simple question but I just can't find the best fittings to use. I want to make a coffee table, will be 800mm x 400mm and not sure of the thickness of the top yet, maybe around the 30mm or so. The top will be a combination of some old slabs, or part thereof, with cracks, holes whatever,..............and epoxy resin.

    I want the legs to be screwed into the bottom. I dont want a full frame type legs. Something I can remove easy, but solid. Something like a mounting plate screwed on with a centre female thread to take a male type threaded bolt on the end of the leg. A lot of the flatpack tables etc you buy now from furniture shops have similar.

    But I just can't seem to find exactly what I am looking for, any thoughts?

    Try a search for “leg plate” on the Bunnings web site. There is vertical and angled in two sizes.

    Thanks apple8. That could be what I want, just a matter of putting in the correct name. I also seem to recall Bunnings used to sell the legs for these also, but I havent seen them for a while now. I'll work on this, thanks again,
