About Journeyman Mick
Just a heads-up, I was talking to a mate today & he told me that Journeyman Mick was having a hard time of it at the moment. He went on to say that he (J.M) won't be on the forums for a while as he is having computer (lap top) problems. Computers - don't ya just love em
Anyway, our thoughts are with you Michael!
You have a lot of friends here.

He was on earlier this evening and in fact I sent him a PM just to see how he was.
We can only offer our support. I hope it helps in some small way.If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Frustrating things. Forever failing. Stubborn with it, so I spend hours on end trying to get it to work. I'm going to toss mine when the connection runs out this month. Before you know it gobbles up your time and money.
I got this machine for $250.......$30/month over a couple years...... I'd have a bandsaw now if I'd never got involved. true.
Toss the thing Mick......and get a life.....like ME

Update
Today it's been 4 weeks and a day since we checked into the hospital.
See here for the why, bit difficult to say it again I'm afraid.
Besides having put on 2 kgs that I didn't need (there's some very accurate scales just down the corridor ) from being fed 3 meals a day plus 3 lots of tea and biccies & cake and getting almost no exercise, I'm well. Computer problem sorted (went and bought myself one today) so at least I can get (virtually) out and about.
WIfe is pretty much pain free, so that's good. Shes mostly asleep, which is also good. The nurses are all wonderful, we've got a free health system in this wonderful country and I can go for a walk along the newly landscaped esplanade in the evening. Life's tough, but you've got to keep looking at all the good stuff it has to offer. Thanks all for your well wishes, I'll be here most days, jusr don't know how much I'll post.

tomorrow you will have paid for it and not have it."

"If a man is after money, he's money mad; if he keeps it, he's a capitalist; if he spends it, he's a playboy; if he doesn't get it, he's a never-do-well; if he doesn't try to get it, he lacks ambition. If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."
