Default Kiddies table and chairs finished

A few weeks ago I asked for advice for measurements of small kiddies chairs as I had to make a table and chair set for a little girl who's first birthday was coming up later this month. Thanks to all the guys who gave me advice and sent plans etc. I finally decided to go with a simple design for the chairs, seeing as I had never made a chair before.
Apart from the plywood chair seats and table top, the whole set was made from that cheap non structural, pine timber that Bunnies sell for $2.40 for a 2.4metre length.
The stain I used was something I made up from small amounts of stain I had left over from other projects so not a standard colour. I finished it with 3 coats of satin varnish and it looks and feels pretty good. I thought I would share this picture of the finished product with you. Thanks again guys to all of you who gave me welcome advice. Much appreciated.

Looks great, John. I wouldn't have guessed it was cheap pine, very nice job on the finish.

When they're sitting around it having a tea party, be sure and post the pic!

Looks great John .I can see the pink plastic tea set on the table
and the little smiles and laughter coming from the seats.

The little girl will love it John. Well done.

It's OK Ray. The mayor is descending on my place, along with the good pasho to cut up some timber. Furniture is safe.
