Default Free Rosewood (Tipuana) Tree wood Brisbane

    Hi
We need to cut down a very large Tipuana Tree. Any ideas on the most affordable way to cut down and have all the timber removed?

    Thanks

Except for doing yourself (safety???) - get a few quotes from tree loppers.

I've used a son & dad firm to remove quite a frew big trees out of yard west of Ipswich, they are called RAQ, give Phil (dad) a call on 3805 4712 and they'll come and give you a quote.

I have had fantastic work done by GDE tree services - there were a cool $1000 cheaper than the 20 quotes I got for removing the 30m hoop pine from our yard, since had them out a few times to grind stumps, they are fast professional and reliable.

    yeah I'm wondering too?

Big enough to mill timber out of?

If so, you could get someone like myself or Exador to take away the majority of the tree (possibly for free) once it's down.

Or it may make nice benchtops/seats/bartops/slabs and then get someone like Eaxador or myself to come in a slab it up and sell off the slabs (keeping one or two for yourself ) then come out of it without losing any $'s and maybe even make some

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and referrals. We will get a few quotes and take it from there.
