Learn cabinetry or hire one?
Hi All... am new here.
I have an idea for a product that I would like to create. The product would be relatively simple to make. But i'm unsure if I should do a course to learn the skills or just hire a cabinet maker to make it. Are cabinet makers expensive to hire?
Alternatively can anyone recommend short courses in cabinetry/furniture making in the southern parts of melbourne?
My goal is to build a prototype and then take that to market and see if I can sell it.

If you want to market it (semi)commercially, you'll need someone with a proper set-up who can manufacture in volume.
I work for Dewhurst Furniture in Moorabbin; we specialize in custom-made furniture, cabinetry and joinery, so feel free to drop in and have a chat.

Thanks for the reply. And yes it would need to be made in a way it can be reproduces for commercial production.
