Default Leather handles, loops, case draw latches....

Does anyone know of a supplier in Australia that still has stock of these items? (pinned leather handles with hoops & draw latches - for custom cases). My old haunt in Alphington has sold out of the stock they had and due to the demise of local trades and wont be importing anymore.
The yanks know this stuff as 'trunk hardware' and there's heaps of offshore suppliers on the net but I'd prefer a local supplier if available.

    Cheers,
    Eastie

Check out your local Saddlery. You'd be surprised what you may turn up there.

Have already tried both of them... they can whip up leather handles no probs but loops and drawlathes are out of the question. It seems this sort of stuff just doesn't get manufactured locally anymore. I've a lead to follow up in Adelaide so I'll see how I go there.

if you are looking for suitcase type handles.... no problem
penn fabrications still stock solid leather case handles with loops & sadles at each end. There is a new one sitting on my work bench for a project as we speak.
thers is also heaps of catches, latches and corners.
all commonly used in building equipment cases.
send me a pm if you want more info.
    cheers
