Default Linisher, belt sander for a lathe?

Sorry if this in the wrong section.

I was thinking of getting a linisher for my boxes and other jobs that don't quite work on the upside-down belt sander.

It made me think as space is a premium. I made a disk sander for the lathe. Wonderful. Does anyone know if someone makes, or if there are plans for, a rapidly detachable belt sander/linisher type thing?

    Something like these http://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Linishing-Attachments

What would be cool is if it bolted rapidly to the bed and used the lathe as the drive/rotation. One could make it, but all the fiddy bits like alignment, pressure pads and tension add some headaches.

    Any thoughts?
