Default Live edge scraps - good use for them - business card displays.

Had a 2 inch square scrap of Tassie Oak live edge left over from a little job. Didn't have the heart to throw it out, too much lovely figure.

Then an idea. My old boss I made a few things for, for his nice desk.

Here we go, lots of faffing around trying to rout the holes, but if I ever end up with a similar size offcut, well I've got a jig for that (bet a few others have lots of 'jigs for that' that never get used again)

nice use. Mine tend to go as fire starters.
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

Nice work Bob. It's a nice piece of Tassie Oak too. It's not often that I see such colour variation over such a short width in Tassie Oak. My old jigs quickly become smaller new jigs until they are too small and I start again with a fresh 8'x4' sheet of medium density poison.

TasSculptor as I recall was the guy I got the bit off. Haven't seen him posting a lot in the marketplace, maybe I need to contact him ans see what treasures he's hiding away
