    Smile looking for guidance in finding a chair maker

    hi
    Can any body point me in the right direction to find a chair maker. We are wanting to have 6 of the attached picture made.
    Do you know where I can get pear wood ?
    Also any body got an ideas on how best to make the folding mechanism ?

    I make chairs. Cant help with fruit pear wood, but do have brown pear. The mechanism is a through bolt with serpentine brass blades sandwiched in the leg timber. The joint in the leg is a lap joint and relies on the seat tension and the shoulders of the lap to hold in the open position.The seat leather needs to be stout stuff for this type of chair.
