looking for spotted gum
Hi Evreyone
i am looking for some spotted gum (100x100 or there abouts) to make a butches block however evrey mill i call doesent seem to have any. does anyone know a supplyer who is lickley to have some in stock

Tadrez,
you will not find it.
even if you happen across some it will be unseasoned, and will warp then you use it.
Shoot for 50-mm stock and join more often.
Think about other options, like the super available Blackbutt, every one will have it 50mm and end grain butchers block will not be too different at all.

My supplier has plenty all seasoned but it's in Brisbane. They do oftern send to Sydney. Call 0400173453. They sell by the slab.
Other wise, I spotted Gum at the pub last week with two very nice ladies. I just had to.
