    Question Magnetic Dado Shims

    I have been looking for a supplier of Magnetic Shims for use with a dado blade set that I have. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks Big Shed..I did read the current threads before I asked my question..I'm not a total idiot. As you see there is only one mention of Magnetic Shims and they are ridiculously expensive. I think they are your words. Was just hoping someone , since that link was posted, may have found a (local) source and at a better price. Perhaps I'll chase suppliers of fridge magnet material-----

    I don't think I implied that you were "a complete idiot".

    Perhaps if you had put this information in your initial question we would all have known exactly what information you were after.

    BTW the suggestion of using WD40 has worked very well for me, certainly wouldn't be tempted to spend that sort of money on magnetic shims now that I am using that method.
