Default My Makers Mark Brass Plates

    They have arrived .

I have been burning my name etc on the bottom of a lot of my work, but always wanted something a bit better for those better or bigger items (bed, table, boxes etc). Some-one here recommended Makers-Mark (sorry I don’t remember who) so I ordered 50 of the standard size 3.

They are very easy to deal with and promptly replied to all my emails. Plenty of choice and help regarding type and artwork.

    Cheers
    Neil

    Nah Cliff

Just thinking that a 'GOOD' Brand into Timber/Wood
would be more dificult to remove than 2 or so Tacks or Screws,
    holding on a Plate.

Good idea of a brand, I have seen examples, just don't know where to get them. I intend using a bit of epoxy as well as the tacks to ensure they stick, might even rebate them.

There is a company in brisbane that make branding irons and will also do makers marks. I had a brand mad up for work ages ago and was really pleased with the results.

Just remembered the name: Myers Badges and Dies

We also had some brading tools made for the metal press. The do a range of work as you'll see if you have a look at the website.
Have a nice day - Cheers

I have some of the Makers Mark ones, and prefer to rout a small rebate for them. Been very happy with the product and service. Frankly, I can't see how the guy stays in business selling them that cheap in such small quantities.

They can be removed, but I figure if one of my descendants wants to remove the mark, well, that's fine as I'm unlikely to ever know about it.

Thanks for the links Ivan & WB. Maybe when I have run out of these I'll look into them.

Your right Vidi is very good to deal with, its what probably keeps them in business.
