This is the prototype, the next one in camphor will have the seat reduced in depth but will remain the same basic design. The next two will be in Silky Oak with a modification to the arms and back rest with the final two out of either Jarrah or Tas. Blackwood and will have further modification....yet to be decided.

I am reasonably pleased with the result although I can see where I could make improvements in my shaping, finishing and selection/matching of the camphor.

The chair looks great. Hope you are going to document the next chair.

Paul, I don't time any of my projects but at a guess about 30 to 40 solid disciplined hours after the first one.
The "show" that Damien mentioned is the Redcliffe Show (a suburb of Brisbane) and the Woodcraft Competition held in conjunction with it details are on the Redcliffe Show website......or PM me if you would like further information.
    Cheers Kerry
