After Market Fence for Rockwell
I haave an olderr Rockwell table saw. The table is cast and it has a 2 hp motor. It runs well and true, but the fence is old and I would like to upgrade to a better fence and miter guage. Does anyone have experience with the after market fences produced by Grizzly/Shop Fox, Biesmeyer, JessEm, Vega etc

I bought a Biesmeyer fence for my Craftsman tablesaw many years ago. It was a night and day difference between what was and what is. Best move I've ever made.

After Market fence
Thanks Paul. Did you look at any others before buying the Biesmeyer? Also, did you replace the miter guage? If so, what were your deciding factors, such as accuraacy, ease of use and versatility? Thanks, for any info to help me in my purchase.

I would suggest a General (Canadian) "T" square fence.

The General either invented or has made the Biesemeyer fence for Biesemeyer. It would probably be easier to get the fence in OZ than trying for a Biesemeyer brand fence.
Regardless of what fence you get you'll probably have to drill some holes in sides of the table to adapt the fence to the saw. I don't think that having to drill the holes to adapt is that big of a problem considering the advantages of the new fence system.

I looked at a couple of others, but this was before many of the Biesmeyer clones hit the market. I've used the Jet, Delta, Biesmeyer and a couple of others before I bought. I happen to like the Biesmeyer best of all so that's the one I looked for.
Check out: http://www.biesemeyer.com and I'm sure you'll find what will fit your saw. Many have mounting kits already drilled for models of saws. Biesmeyer also has closeouts available.
Whatever you get, I"m sure you'll find it an improvement over many stock fences.
