Good luck with it. Just remember to talk your head off to anyone within cooie. At least you feel like you've had a good day out. (I like doing the market just because I get sick of being by myself in the studio.) And inexorably the sales will go up. Who knows why.:shrug.

So how did it go Carl, any better? I had my first day three weeks ago, it was nice weather and I really enjoyed talking to all the tyre kickers. I am using it as an advertising front for larger comissioned pieces and landscape works so the fact that I covered costs and handed out 30 business cards was enough to please me. The surrounding stall holders all thought I was lucky to cover costs, they said it took them a couple of months before the customers started rolling in.
I reckon this is a great thread to keep going to provide people who are looking at setting up a stall info as I think some people have unrealistic expectations. Kepp up the progress posts.
