I recently signed up for a trade card at the new Masters store and went to use it the other day only to be told by the staff there that the trade card only gave me access to Masters monthly trade specials not an actual trade discount total waste of time so its back to the big green shed for me. Big fail Masters

I find that Bunnings trade discount is sometimes not even worth the effort of taking the card out of the pocket. On many items I get 00%! The most is probably 5%.

I have discount card with two smaller hardware stores and receive 5 - 10% off most items.

The smaller stores are more convenient and some items are cheaper than Bunnings but they do not have the range and sometimes not the quantity of what I need to obtain.

Bunnies trade card got me NO discount---one condition of use is that you must have min.$200 a month or it would not be reissued.
I pulled it out of the wallet once,no discount-left it in the glove box for years, guess what they sent me a new one about a month ago.

I agree the Bunnings discount isn't much but I am in there 2 to 3 times a week so it adds up & I do have trade cards for a couple of mitre10's at which I get better discounts but there are not as many as stores as Bunnings and I work a very large area. Masters give nil discount which adds up to nil no matter how many times you use it.
