    Default measure your router.

    i need to find a router to fit on the slab dresser im making.

    i am using a routermaster mounting plate but my 2 gmc routers wont fit. i ned a decent size router that will go on the pegs.

    the posts need to measure.

    140mm - 160mm from outside of one to outside of the other.

    20mm diamiter.

    could you please post the meassurements form your router so i can see witch are close.

    You cannot run a 125mm sanding disc at the speed of a router

    it will have a planner head mounted on it. not a sander.

    can we please not reduce this thread to this isnt safe comments. i would just like to know witch router fits the routermaste thingy i have.

    carl i have a ryobi 2hp , 1/2 inch i will measure it in the morning and post it here .
    but i think your measuring cant be right ,1149 and 1160mm is along way between posts ???

    p.s. i was looking at the surface planer bits at the show today for the very same reason.

    there was an extra 1 in front of my numbers.

    140mm - 160mm adjustable.

    i can turn down the post diamiters.

    im now tossing up wheather to go with a 2hp motor instead of a router. dependign on witch routers fit that is.

    whati am usign isnt really a router bit but it will work well hopefully.

    ok measured mine ( ryobi r501 ) old one but good one .
    its 148mm across outside to outside , and the posts are 20 mm each so it's 108 mm between them

    so it looks like a ryobi would fit.

    are the new ones the same?

    i might have to go to a daeler with my calipers.
