    You havn't wasted it Pearo. You'll be surprised where you will use that large off cut some where else. Thus actually saving on the expense of having to go out and buy a new piece

    Well the bonus was that the guy who came to install the glass balustrade asked me who did the timber work. When I told him I did it he was a bit disappointed. He said to me "I was hoping you knew someone who did it professionally because I need someone like that"!. Its nice when someone appreciates your work!
