Melbourne Woodworking Show
Going to the woodwork show tomorrow, my wife has given me a fist full of 50's to spend there.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I´m not so sure about the universe.

Any where around Melb ? (I hope so)If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

"So you want to roll up and remain faceless and unknown at the show, like the thousands of others, and spend the money given to you. No problems with that. Many others do that too.

Some times the truth hurts Peter, in the past I have gone down that path and found that the smart ars*$ attitude, the posturing and politics by others is a waste of time. I went to the show to spend some money and see some customers I did however run into The Woodborer, which was a pleasant surprise.<O</O
The other reason I am not interested is that after family commitments, spending time with my wonderful wife my duties as a Justice Of The Peace I would rather spend the time practising the art of wood work not waste time with people who only want to take the PI**<O</O
I find that this Forum satisfies my need to talk with other SERIOUS woodworkers and exchange ideas.<O</O
If you look at some of the silly comments on this thread (some of them mine) you will see what you mean.<O</O
The time that I seriously suggested that some get together they took the PI** so why should I go out of my way to meet with them?<O</O
But if any one wants to seriously meet and discuss woodwork or compare work and methods or if they want advice on motors (good prices if you are in Melbourne) feel free to PM me.<O</O
