my microbevel is off
i don't have much value to add to the discussion but to confirm that i also experiecend the same problem with microbevel being out of parallel.

19th May 2006, 11:13 PM #32Speaking of the Mk11. I use mine purely for chisels. And i use the Eclipse for plane blades so i can have a gentle curve on the plane blade. So does this mean most don't bother with a slight curve on there plane blades???

Oh, if you want to use the basic Mk II now for cambering a blade, just do it upside-down! A picture is on the review thread.
