Why do you even need a saw when a knife would cut it easily?
And you'd be suprised how smaller bits can be cut on a full size CMS if you set it up!
Dont you like using the metric system?

    What...........?

    No DC..........

I know it is only a little saw, but man I'd put a guard on that thing, sure would take a nice slice out of your hand if you "whoops" once or twice......

My dad makes RC models, and he has a little B&D bandsaw, that takes power off an electric drill. This is small and easy to use for ripping stuff, but the mini CMS for cut-offs would be nice.

Keep us posted and take pics if you do build one.

    Cheers!

    brucen,
I have put a link to details of the dremel saw. Please note the saw is free standing and powered by it's own 1.1amp 240V motor.

Repition and accuracy. When building scale models I need each piece to be exactly the same. A hobby knife or saw can introduce differences that do actually make a difference in construction - especially with competition models.

It is not that I don't like the metric system but my modeling scale is all out of the States, that's why I use feet/inches in that instance

    Cheers

    Thanks Joe

That looks like just the ticket! Would save me building one. Now there is just the question of how much are you looking for for the little beast?

    Cheers

I thought the same thng when I first saw it, she'd be doing a fair few RPM's I would say and I would not like to get fingers anywhere near the thing!

I did think of a little bandsaw but prefer teh idea of a CMS or table saw. If things don't work out with the Dremel saw then I will definately take shots of anything I build

    Cheers
