Need someone near MALVERN who can cut straight
G'day - my name is alex.
I've recently acquired a drum which measures 18 inches in diameter and 16 inches in depth. The drum is constructed of 3 thin plies of maple, poplar and maple. (it looks much like this drum:

i'm looking for someone to cut 4 inches off the depth of the drum, to make it 12 inches in depth.

Make up rollers as in the video and then use a table saw.
Find some one with a big band saw.
Or Mark a line around the drum and then slowly cut with a power saw (not circular).
Not sure if my hands are steady enough to do it for you.
