Newbie
Howdy,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Have only recently discovered the forum and am blown away by the spirit and helpful advice being offered. Am an Australian living in SE Asia - and have a Lao woodwork teacher trained in the former Soviet Union. Big problem is dry timber, but have just managed to secure some KD rosewood (7 planks - 2000x 250 x 30) to make some bookshelves. And yesterday the vendor showed by a 5 square metre piece of rosewood burl he'd managed to come across (60mm thick)! Anyway - cheers - looking forward to posting my dumb questions on the site.
