    Default newbie intro

G'day all, My name is Glenn new to this forum, I like to make wrought iron and natural look timber slab furniture, I have recently prepared a African Mohgany slab 2.8m x 600mm by sanding back to 400 grit the applying 3 coats of Cabots Danish oil, looks great! What do I use to give it a final polish as this will be used as a buffet in my lounge, I have been advised to use feast and watson furniture polish but would like to hear of any other advise as I have no clue as to what is the best product to use in this situation.
    Cheers

    Welcome Glenn.
Our fearless leader, forum owner, and owner of Ubeaut range of products is probably the best person to answer this question, but he is currently out of the country visiting family for Christmas. I have marked this post for his attention, and I would expect him to respond in due course.

Thanks yonnee! I will be very interested to talk to him as I have just scored around 20 slabs of Jarrah, blackbutt and Marri of various shapes and lengths, some will need glueing and clamping, but most are fine. Any tips on glueing cracked slabs would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers, Glenn.

Depending upon the crack - but the normal method is to rip down the crack, joint the two edges and glue back together.
