Important notice to Victorian customers
Hi guys. I just had a thought. Considering a certain competitor of ours has had some problems in Vic, it may have left a situation where you're choice is a bit limited. I don't know because I don't live there, but no one ever seems to talk as much about other suppliers.
Would Vic customers be interested in a situation where we say offer freight for any order (and I mean any order, any size) for only $5. Obviously if you're buying $20 worth of screws it won't make much of a difference, but for a $1500 machine, it would!
Also note, unless you're in whoop-whoop, that it will mean you can have whatever you want out of our catalogue (excluding Triton which isn't even in the catalogue) delivered to your house, so you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home.
If you ordered online as well, it would mean that you also get a 10% discount off the goods too. Don't know how long we could run it for, maybe a couple of months.
The response I get from this bulletin board will largely decide whether we're going to do it or not. So, if nobody else posts after me, I'll forget it, if I get a few we'll probably work out how to do it. I'll be checking the bulletin board again on Monday, so the more people respond, the more likely it is to happen. Tell your friends to register and post their ideas! The more the merrier.

Hague,
Most of the time, the only thing that stops me ordering from WA is shipping. I would welcome the lower rates.

BTW I am in whoop whoop, what does that mean for me?Is there anything easier done than said?- Stacky. The bottom pub, Cobram.

And don't forget us in the middle,
I ditto DanP's sentiments re the shipping costs.
I recently visited Timbecons site and was going to purchase a Barometer, but the shipping cost was double that of the items. (Barometer on special)
We would welcome the lower shipping costs and no doubt your sales would increase!Last edited by Tankstand; 1st April 2005 at 05:27 PM.

Sounds like a terrific idea / offer, and I for one could / would be interested
I'll now go back through the catalogue, and start dreaming / making up my next list of equipment and tool purchases.

Sounds like a good idea to me too.
If the shipping costs are under control then I'm sure that orders will follow from many of us.

E. maculata,
Are you sure you don't live in Mexico? I coulda sworn the Rio Grande debouched into the Ocean somewhere near Tweed Heads

I'm definitely interested.
